A living room stands for socialization and all its confinements; a fireplace stands for nature, warmth, and the open air. This modern house tucked in Somerset needed a few alterations to become the perfect home for the Bentt Bugos family. Michiels & Partners transformed a once uninviting and isolated living room into a lively addition to the public quarters. Adding a see through fireplace meant creating a space that is open to adventure and possibility, one that is not too closely confined by the strictures of society.
